ABOUT ME
I have been a nurse and grief counselor for over 35 years. In 1985 I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Kristal. She developed an overwhelming infection and died when she was only 3 days old. As a Labor and Delivery nurse at the time. it gave me a unique advantage to help other families suffering pregnancy or early pregnancy loss. I have continued to provide counseling to parents through support groups and individual counseling. I also provided education to nurses, doctors, and social workers about grief and loss.
In 2013, my son, Sean was murdered in the line of duty as a police officer. He was 27 years old and killed by the Boston Marathon Bombers .It was a terrible challenge to grieve in such a public way. I am grateful for the family, friends and professionals who helped to get me through that very dark time.
If you are suffering from a broken heart, know that you are not alone. I can help you move through loss and come out on the other side. Please send me an email or book an appointment on line.
